Here’s the Deal – About Our Pups and Our Program

We’re not shy about it—our pups are exceptional! Yes, we’re partial, and we should be. We’ve worked hard to build a breeding program we’re proud of, and the results speak for themselves. Our families consistently see the difference in the quality, temperament, and health of our pups compared to others.

Health and Genetics Matter

Every one of our parent dogs is thoroughly health-tested—no shortcuts. We know that a major reason people choose doodles is the low-shedding coat. Whether it’s for allergy reasons or just less mess, we get it! But let’s be honest: breeding two non-shedding doodles does not guarantee a non-shedding pup. It’s all about genetics, and we take that seriously.

All our puppies are CKC-registered. Does it matter? Maybe not to everyone, but we do it anyway—our poodles are AKC registered, and since mixed breeds can’t be AKC, CKC is a way to offer documented lineage for those who want it. Easy peasy. Frame it if you like! We have had only one person ask for it in 16 years.

Let’s Talk Size

Oh boy—this is a big one (pun intended). You don’t determine a puppy’s adult size by simply averaging the parents’ weights. That’s not how genetics work. One of our clients came to us after getting a “Petite Mini Goldendoodle” from another breeder. It was supposed to stay under 25 pounds… but it hit 75 pounds and had to be rehomed due to HOA restrictions. They now have two of our pups and couldn't be happier. When you know better, you choose better.

True Socialization = Confident Dogs

Puppy socialization isn’t just letting kids pet them. Of course, our puppies are raised right here in our home and loved on, but we also understand the science behind proper socialization. Did you know that overstimulating a young puppy can lead to anxiety later on? That’s why we use structured protocols.

We do ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) from days 3 to 16, and from day 16 to 8 weeks, we follow a certified curriculum to provide safe, intentional exposure to sounds, textures, experiences, and more. Around 4 weeks, we start litter training using pine pellets (not cat litter!), and within about a week, they’re trained to use a specific potty area. Yes—I even use timers because it must be done about 5 times a day!

Our pups get the best possible start, which means they’re easier to house-train, already familiar with crate training, and have basic recall skills. That early work pays off big time for our families.

Pricing and Value

Are we proud of what we’ve built? Absolutely. Are we currently selling at market value? Actually, no—and we never have. Since 2018, our price has remained the same, even as demand has grown. Recently, we lowered it further because our mamas are producing more pups than expected (a happy surprise, thanks to excellent care and nutrition!).

Currently, our puppies are $1600 (regularly $2200), and we expect to keep that rate through the end of the year. We’re able to do this because we’ve invested in a top-notch setup, and we’re confident in the quality of every single pup we raise. Want proof? Eleven vets own our dogs—including one who has three! Two groomers each own two. That kind of repeat trust speaks volumes.

Our Setup

We built an 800 sq ft “barndominium” designed for both comfort and function. It includes a full bath with a dog washing station, washer/dryer, and a private office where I can work from home while being close to the dogs. The structure could be converted into a home someday, but right now, it’s all about the pups.

We have a fully fenced play yard, a concrete training area for rainy days, and two acres of space for zoomies. (Yes, burrs are our nemesis in the wooded areas—long-haired doodles and burrs are not friends!)

There’s also a designated area for critical care or visiting veterinary professionals, and a cozy space just to hang out. Honestly, it’s our happy place, and someday we hope to build a full-size barndominium for ourselves, because we love it that much.

That’s Us.

We’re passionate, experienced, and committed to raising exceptional pups. We’re proud of what we’ve built—and we’d love for you to become part of our extended puppy family.
